Former Syracuse Guard Arrested for Drug Possession: Alleged Connection to Diddy Combs’ Illegal Activities

Brendan Paul, Former Syracuse player, arrested on drug charges for allegedly being a courier for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Miami-Dade police records recently confirmed the arrest of former Syracuse guard Brendan Paul on felony charges related to drug possession. Specifically, he was accused of having suspected cocaine and marijuana candy in his possession during the raid on rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami.

While the timing of Paul’s arrest may have coincided with the raid on Combs’ properties, there is no evidence linking the two incidents. However, allegations have emerged that Paul worked as a “mule” for Combs, acquiring and distributing drugs and guns as part of an alleged sex trafficking case.

In a federal lawsuit filed in February, it was claimed that Paul played a key role in Combs’ illegal activities. Combs has denied these allegations, but Paul’s attorney has stated that they intend to address the issues in court rather than through the media.

Despite his brief tenure at Syracuse, where he started his basketball career as a walk-on, Paul’s name is now associated with Combs’ legal troubles. He played a total of 51 games over two seasons for Fairmont State before being arrested on drug-related charges.
