This comes after mediators from Qatar and Egypt presented a proposed agreement. Meanwhile, an Israeli government representative has indicated support for a UN resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The representative emphasized that Israel will continue its military operation until it has achieved all of its objectives, including destroying Hamas’ military capabilities, freeing all hostages, and ensuring that the Gaza Strip will not pose a threat to Israel in the future.

During Israel’s military operation in Jenin in the West Bank, at least three people were reported killed according to Palestinian sources. The Ministry of Health in Ramallah confirmed this on Tuesday. Israeli media reported that a special unit conducted a raid in the town of Kafr Dan, north of Jenin, during which armed Palestinians opened fire on them. The Israeli troops, with support from a combat helicopter, engaged in a battle with the armed Palestinians. According to reports, the undercover special unit entered the town to make an arrest.
