Alexandra and her sister Ariana, our interns, took advantage of this opportunity to capture breathtaking photos of the moon using their telescope. While the moon is undeniably beautiful, how much do we truly understand about it? The moon was formed as a result of a collision that occurred approximately 4.5 billion years ago.
