In the early hours of Monday, a dramatic accident occurred on a bridge in Maryland that made headlines around the world. The Francis Scott Key Bridge, which spans the Chesapeake Bay, collapsed in just twenty seconds, leaving eight workers and at least seven cars in the cold water. Miraculously, all crew members on the ship were unharmed.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. local time when the freighter Dali veered off course near the bridge. Investigations quickly ruled out terrorism as a cause of the collapse, with authorities stating that it was not an intentional act.
