Revolutionizing Molecular Analysis with Rapid and Accurate Identification Technologies: Isospec Analytics’ Breakthrough in the Health and Agriculture Sector

New analysis technology by Isospec can now identify previously unknown molecules

Molecular analysis is a crucial component of drug development, nutritional product creation, and pesticide testing. However, current methods for identifying unknown molecules are often slow and inaccurate, leading to regulatory setbacks or health risks for consumers. Isospec Analytics has developed new technologies to overcome these limitations and revolutionize molecular identification.

The company raised $1.9M in a pre-seed round led by Founderful (formerly Wingman Ventures), with additional investment from Tiny.vc, another.vc, and Venture Kick. Isospec’s technology generates unique, information-rich metrics that allow for rapid identification of unknown molecules in minutes, rather than months.

Isospec’s breakthrough technology originated from the Laboratory of Molecular Physical Chemistry (LCPM) at EPFL and is already being used in the food and agritech industry to analyze sugars and metabolites for quality control and product R&D. By providing scalable and efficient molecular analysis processes, Isospec’s technology brings a new level of accuracy and speed to the field of molecular analysis.
