Highlighting Student Business Innovations: The Columns Creative Showcase at Washington and Lee University

Washington and Lee University’s Connolly Center for Entrepreneurship is hosting its first Creative Showcase on April 4 from 5-8 p.m. The event will take place in the Houston H. Harte Center for Teaching and Learning in Leyburn Library and is open to everyone for free. This showcase aims to bring together academic theory with entrepreneurial practice, giving students a platform to showcase their innovative skills and ideas.

W&L students have been working in groups to develop their own business concepts and products, which they will present at the Creative Showcase. Assistant professor of business administration, Anushka Daunt, highlights the importance of this showcase for students by providing them with practical experience in presenting their work professionally, similar to what they would do in a business setting.
